Main Project Funding

Please note: the INTERREG IIIB Northern Periphery Programme is no longer accepting new applications. Please refer to the Northern Periphery Programme 2007-2013 if you would like to make a new application.

In order to apply for main project funding, project partners should have a project idea addressing one of the priorities of the programme, a joint project plan, a firm project partnership consisting of three or more partners from at least three different countries within the programme area, and national financing should be in place.

The maximum budget for a main project is recommended to be no more than 1 million Euros, but in exceptional cases and in consultation with the Joint Programme Secretariat can go up to 2 million Euros, with an intervention rate of between 50-75% of eligible costs.

In order to apply for main project funding and ensure that your application contains the correct documentation and information, it is important to read the necessary guidelines.

It is also recommended that you familiarise yourself with the Programme Complement, Programme Document and Transnationality Guidance, as well as the Datasheets and Regulations, before making an application. Individual copies of all these documents can be found in the downloads section of the website.

Please remember that the Joint Programme Secretariat are available to offer advice and assistance during this process.
